Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This year I am running the iconic Great North Run in memory of my Mum. It's one of those dates in the calendar we always used to watch as a family. I said I would run it one day... now's the time, though would have loved Mum to have seen me on the telly. Ay up me duck was her favourite greeting... along with get mash on (make a cup of tea) and did you smell the kettle (we were great tea drinkers). Thanks to Dukki Gifts and Souvenirs for the photo!

I am wanting to raise awareness and money for Ovarian Cancer Action. I am aiming for a total which means my Mum's name will be placed on a memory wall, a legacy for my children.

I wanted to raise awareness of symptoms so that more men would take note as it could save life of you Mum, your wife, your girlfriend,  your daughter, your sister, your Grandma, your Auntie, your cousin....

I will also be running the Paisley 10k in August and Linlithgow 10k in October as part of my fundraising activities.
